...WE BECAME GROWNUPS!

Our Mum always said that no matter how old she got, she still felt the same on the inside. Us, too. (Probably you, too.)

I didn’t have any children of my own but my friends let me hang out with theirs.

I always knew I wanted to be a writer “someday” but I thought I had to wait until I was ready. (More about this faulty notion in FAQ.) I’d tried my hand at different things—being a university student, a nursery school teacher, a suburban newspaper reporter, a clerk in a fruit market.

Then at 21, I discovered GRAPHIC DESIGN and it was love at first sight. I never stopped writing on the side, but my work for years was designing (and sometimes illustrating) book covers, books, theatre posters, brochures, restaurant menus, invitations, announcements, ads—all kinds of interesting things. I did “spot illustrations” for many math, French and spelling textbooks too. There’s more about this in the FAQ.
