You’ll also find Loris’s books at your local children’s bookstore or you can go to these bookstore links at Annick Press.
My new website has been up for a year now, and it’s been exciting to walk into classrooms where teachers have already printed out my coloring pages or other bits of the site. And the kids may have seen pictures of me as a child myself. I’ve usually never met any of them before (the kids or the teachers), but it’s like we know one another a little already.
I’ve also enjoyed hearing from many of you.
I hope that this website will be my contribution to the creative classroom and children’s curiosity, as an author/illustrator—I’m not a teacher, I’m not even a parent, but I love kids, books, school, and creativity above just about everything else.
In hundreds of school visits, I’ve been able to see first-hand the wonderful projects done with my books by imaginative and ingenious teachers. I’ve collected many of these ideas together, added them to my own, and I’ll just keep doing so. Have a look at these links and see what interests you for now.
On the next page are some classroom snapshots I think you’ll enjoy. I really like the macabre boys headed for Boy Soup at the very end of this section.
